A few hours ago it was reported that a total number of 12 members of the All Progressive Congress Party (APC) were said to have decamped to the People's Democratic Party PDP.
In the light of the following happenings, a popular Nigerian activist and political analyst Deji Adeyanju took to his verified Facebook page to express himself in that regard as he says "They Can't Impeach President Buhari"
According to him, he noted that the twelve (12) Senators in the National Assembly who seem to have dumped the ruling Party to join the opposition party aren't a deal breaker. Adding that the Senators were the ones who lost out in the Senatorial election and could not secure their return ticket.
In conclusion, Mr. Deji who doesn't seem surprised about the reported news claims that those set of lawmakers does not appear to have any tenacity so therefore they are incapable of impeaching President Muhammedu Buhari.
Recall that the minority members in the National Assembly were said to have threatened to impeach the President over the insecurity challenges presently facing the country. In his opinion, he believes those decamped members of the APC who have gone to join the PDP, will still not make any significant changes either.
